1. Agreement Between You and Daventry Airport Service
The terms and conditions presented herein establish the agreement between you and Daventry Airport Service. By booking a taxi and utilizing our service, you unequivocally acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.
2. Definitions
In this agreement, references to “Daventry Airport Service,” “we,” or “us” denote the service-providing company. The terms “you” and “your” encompass any individual, business, or company engaging in a booking with us.
3. Booking
3.1 Allocate sufficient time for the journey to ensure timely arrival, especially for airport transfers with specific check-in requirements. Daventry Airport Service will not be held accountable for delays arising from insufficient time allocation or if you are unprepared for collection at the scheduled time.
3.2 Order a car of suitable size for passengers and luggage. Daventry Airport Service does not guarantee transportation of excessive luggage. Children, regardless of age, count as single passengers.
3.3 Request wheelchair access during the booking process if needed.
4. Prices & Payment
4.1 Quotations by Daventry Airport Service are based on information provided by you. Prices, unless explicitly stated otherwise, exclude VAT, which will be charged additionally if applicable. We reserve the right to modify quotes for significant changes in the itinerary.
4.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period post the landing time and airport parking costs. Exceeding this waiting period incurs charges at the standard Daventry Airport Service waiting rate.
4.3 Upon accepting our quote, review the booking confirmation carefully for accuracy. Failure to notify discrepancies absolves Daventry Airport Service of responsibility for resulting delays or costs.
4.4 Payment for our services can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.
5. The Service
5.1 Passengers are responsible for the behavior of all individuals during the journey. Charges may apply for soiling, damaging, or negatively impacting the vehicle.
5.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is prohibited in the car.
5.3 Restrain children appropriately based on their height, weight, and age.
5.4 Compliance with licensing or insurance passenger limits is mandatory.
6. Cancellations
6.1 Timely cancellation is required. Charges apply for cancellations after dispatch, based on the distance covered by the driver.
6.2 Online booking cancellations may incur charges.
7. Liability
7.1 Daventry Airport Service is not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. No liability exists for losses incurred by you or your business.
7.2 Luggage is carried at your own risk.
7.3 In case of a breakdown, we aim to provide an alternative car promptly.
7.4 You shall not indemnify Daventry Airport Service for expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from omissions or acts by anyone in your party.
7.5 Liability exclusion is not applicable for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful default, or matters deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.
8. Termination
8.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is at risk due to abuse, violence, or damage from you or passengers. No refunds are provided for terminated journeys.
9. Miscellaneous
9.1 Daventry Airport Service may subcontract obligations, and you cannot assign or transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement.
9.2 Terms and conditions may be amended by Daventry Airport Service, and changes will be reflected on this page. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect during the booking.
9.3 Data processing adheres to the guidelines of the Data Protection Act of 1988.
9.4 This agreement constitutes the complete understanding between Daventry Airport Service and yourself.
9.5 No third party can enforce rights under this agreement unless agreed upon in writing.
10. Disputes
Any dispute or claim must be raised within 30 days of the booking pickup date; claims made after this period will not be entertained by Daventry Airport Service.
